Night Museum

Lighting is generally considered to be a “static” function that simply turns on or off. At BRIGHT-CHIPS, however, we have focused on “dynamic” and “variable” exhibition lighting. The ever-changing interaction of light is created through our proprietary CALC (Computer-Aided-Lighting-Calculation) technology and programs. Your favorite works of art can transform before your eyes, allowing you to fully appreciate their beauty in constantly changing expressions. Our lighting control programs incorporate chaos theory, making each expression created by the light truly unique. Furthermore, within the world of the display case, we have succeeded in capturing even the “transience” of passing time.
Enjoy the ultimate relaxation experience in your own private museum, the “Night Museum,” a museum of transience created exclusively for you. We propose a unique space where you can enjoy your own private time and immerse yourself in an environment that belongs entirely to you.

Features
“Utsuroi” (formerly known as Yuragi)
“Utsuroi” is a product series of art display cases equipped with computer-controlled lighting functions. Using dynamic lighting effects, Utsuroi expresses the “passage of time” within the display case. As a result, every time you view your collection from a different angle, you can enjoy its unique beauty illuminated by different lighting.
What you display is entirely up to you. In addition to works of art, the case can accommodate handmade crafts, plastic models, and precious personal belongings that hold special meaning for you. Almost anything can be displayed. The lighting programs can also be custom-designed according to each individual work or collection. Whether placed in a study, a Japanese-style room, a Western-style room, or any other space, Utsuroi naturally blends into its surroundings. Wherever you choose to place it, that space becomes your very own private museum.

Premium Glass Case
The “Utsuroi” model is an art display case equipped with dynamic lighting functions. In addition, we have designed high-quality, luxury glass display cases without lighting. Their frameless and sophisticated design creates a modern aesthetic that harmonizes beautifully with contemporary living spaces.
A half-mirror glass panel is used on the back, allowing you to appreciate the displayed object from behind as well. The standard specification uses high-transparency glass designed to minimize any influence on the colors of the displayed objects. You can also choose our “invisible glass,” which virtually eliminates surface reflections. For customers seeking a more affordable option, we also offer a standard glass specification.

We can also produce custom-made glass display cases in special shapes. As an example, we created an octagonal glass display case. This configuration makes it possible to recreate the exact arrangement of an actual original object.
“Invisible Glass” (Trademark of Nippon Electric Glass Co., Ltd.)
The surface reflectance of ordinary glass is approximately 6–10%. When viewing artwork, reflections on the glass surface can obstruct your view. This is particularly noticeable in illuminated display cases. To fully appreciate the light emitted from within the case, minimizing surface reflections provides a clearer and more beautiful viewing experience.
In order to deliver the highest-quality products, we offer this “invisible glass,” which incorporates one of Japan’s most advanced glass technologies, as an optional feature. The technology reduces the surface reflectance of the glass to less than 0.1%. In addition, the base glass is designed with high light transmittance, minimizing any influence on the colors of the displayed objects.
Experience a beautiful world unlike anything you have ever seen before—as if the glass itself had disappeared, allowing you to enter another dimension.
